SSPS ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: Claudio Simonette

I was in such a bad fucking mood, today. This childhood classic that was one of the many jams played on the radio station WBMX, 102.7FM & AM1490, in Oak Park/Chicago, Ill. when "House Music" was all the rage, made me feel better. Claudio Simonette, you've done it again! It might seem weird to some, but it really makes me feel like breaking!!! It was a total mind fuck to discover that he was part of "Goblin", an Italian Prog Rock band responsible for the soundtracks of a shit ton of Italian films. In America, he is most famous for scoring the George Romero classic Dawn of the Dead, but is also highly-regarded for his work in the films of Italian horror maestro Dario Argento, with whom he has worked almost exclusively since 1975. Goblin's score to his film Profondo rosso was one of the highest-selling horror movie soundtracks ever produced. The last sentence is from wikipedia.
