SSPS @ NY EYE AND EAR3!!!
Here is the end of my set @ the Knitting Factory. It comes in on Sweet Children and regresses into the first performance of a Gino Soccio cover song that I had learned to play about 2 hours before the show, and decided to try while I was on stage. Trial and Error is the name of the game. You should hear it now. Completely redeveloped. Anyways, there's some stuff that I have cooking for you SSPS maniac's out there! You know who you are...

NIGHT TWO: NY EYE AND EAR 3!!!
The New Wavers had a music convention. Only kidding! I went to the second day of the NY Eye and Ear Fest at the Knitting Factory. Played there, in fact. I didn't document much, as I was riding the line between, beer, schedule times, pre-backlining my rig, and the spectation of live music!
Here's a little Omega Jarden and their voyeur friendly night beat! The sound is shitty with this little camera. I'd advise you turn it down a little!!!
I can't wait to see them again!
Transcending the body
Transcending the the night!
Doing My Thang. It was a short set. If my memory serves me correctly, the set list was-
1/. Societies Savage (Parts one and two)
2/. Catacomb City (transition)
3/. Sweet Children
4/. Double Life
5/. There's a Woman (Gino Soccio cover song)
I think my set might have been like 20 Minutes. Sweet. There were too many bands too list but it's awesome to be a smaller part of a bigger world! Thanks Todd Pendu and every one involved with organizing such a great two day celebration of aural creativity!!!

I'm back. Went to a Wedding...
I have been so reluctant to be by the computer, doing anything. It's been so busy outside the computer world... all sorts of music and extra cirricular activities, usually centered around music. Some visual art. A lot of bull shit. There is little downtime. There is however, love, tragedy, joy and disappointment, mirth and merriment- it all goes down so fast. Played some shows. Eye and Ear 3 was a hoot! Didn't catch the first night. Went to the ex wife's wedding.
Most people are like- "You were invited to your ex's wedding?" or "Did you feel weird?"... all sorts of questions and comments. I'm going to be honest... I did feel somewhat weird... about seeing the ex's family for the first time since our divorce. I'm so glad I saw them. They were so kind, and they said so many awesome things to my new Love... it warms my heart, as much as it reassures me of my decision to allow myself to be swept off of my feet by a totally awesome Lady (and the word Lady must have a capital "L!" She's that great!!!) I'm most glad that we could both find happiness for ourselves and retain our friendship. It's one of those good things about adulthood, you know? Maturity. Sounds crazy, right? But it ain't. Kudos to you, Linda and Philip! I am certain that you will have many, many happy times together!!!
I'll get some posts about the creative things going on, later today. I just wanted to share this revelation of adult life with y'all! Cha Cha Ciao!!!
